Welcome to Hindustan Chamber of Commerce, Mumbai
Started in the year 1897 with 58 members in Mumbai, Hindustan Chamber of Commerce has now grown exponentially with present number of membership touching 2,200 business houses comprising of Manufacturers, Processors, Wholesalers, Exporters, and Commission Agents etc., engaged in textile trade. In the pre-independence days, our Chamber lent active support to the freedom struggle, development of nationalist spirit & spread of Swadeshi Movement.
Our chamber’s centenary celebration was inaugurated by the then Hon’ble Prime Minister of India Shri H. D. Deve Gowda on 3rd January 1997, in the presence of H. E. Governor and Hon’ble Chief Minister of Maharashtra.
Our Chamber is the recipient of JAMNALAL BAJAJ UCHITVYAVAHAR PURASKAR AWARD FOR FAIR BUSINESS PRACTICES for the year 1999 and 2003 in recognition of its distinguished contribution to the promotion of code of conduct laid down by the COUNCIL FOR FAIR BUSINESS PRACTICES, MUMBAI.
